Three Oaks, Michigan’s, Garett Goodwin, will be piloting the #83 Rick’s Custom Tee’s Concept Chassis Micro Sprint at the Southern Illinois Center in Du Quoin, Illinois on March 17th. The USAC National Midget series is well known for visiting the one-sixth mile bullring, including the “Shamrock Classic” and the “Junior Knepper 55.” Multiple BIG name drivers like Bryan Clauson, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, and many more have driven on the famous indoor bullring.
After coming off of a solid 2017 season with five top ten finishes in only 11 races, Garett is prepared to take on the challenge. This race will mark Goodwin’s first career indoor race and the start of his second full season on dirt. While not having a set schedule this year, Goodwin is planning on visiting some new tracks for the 2018 with Du Quoin being first on the list.
“I’m really excited about making the trip out to Du Quoin”, says Goodwin, “It’ll be a new experience for me and I’ll be racing against a lot of tough competition, so I’m hoping to learn a lot from this race!”
Garett Goodwin Racing would like to thank Rick's Custom Tee's, Burkholder Excavating, Bryan's Automotive, Concept Chassis, Steven P.
