THREE OAKS, MICHIGAN - (February 18, 2025) - Garett and the GGR team are loading up next week to start off their 2025 race season to head south for his fourth appearance at the Midwest Winter Nationals at the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin, IL.
The team spent all winter tearing down and preparing the car for the two day race on February 28th and March 1st. Garett's very first appearance at the nationals in 2020 was a huge success by placing 2nd in the Feature event both nights out of the 80+ car entries.
Coming off of a strong 2024 race season with solid results of top 10s and being in contention for the HART championship midway through the season, Goodwin is highly motivated and excited to continue their momentum into a new season.
The goal for 2025 is to compete in as many HART tour races as possible to hopefully be a championship contender per available funding. Garett and the team are excited to get this season started.
"I feel like this is the most we've been prepared for a season in a long time", says Goodwin, "We've put a lot of work into our program this off season with car preparation and spare parts inventory."
