WAYNE CITY, IL (April 25, 2024) - The GGR crew made the trip south to Wayne County Speedway for the HART - Heartland Auto Racing Tour series race for their fourth race of the year! Sitting fourth in the championship standings, the team decided they wanted to keep the momentum alive! During practice, the team struggled with handling issues in the beginning of the day but with the help of Brian Teike, Garett made some adjustments and picked up a bunch of speed by the A-Main! Garett started 20th and ended up finishing 12th in a caution free 25 lap race! After a 12th place finish, Goodwin is now sitting 3rd in the championship standings!
We are blessed and thankful for all of our partners that made this trip happen last minute! We are working hard to find the funding to make the next HART race at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri! Stay tuned!
